Reasons to use Bottles for Cosmetics

If you are looking for a cost effective, environmentally friendly solution to package your cosmetic products and promote your brand then an obvious choice to consider is glass bottles.

Glass bottles are a popular choice for cosmetic packaging. Not only does glass bottles enhance the product packaging in terms of quality, there are multiple benefits to using glass bottles.

At the end of the day, the most important factor of any packaging is that it protects the product. The protection required for cosmetic products goes beyond just physical protection from bumps and drops. Cosmetic products need protection from oxygen exposure, dust and cross contamination of products that may affect the products quality.

Glass acts as an excellent barrier to protect products from oxygen exposure allowing you to protect your products, extend their lifespan and maintain their high quality and effectiveness.

Some cosmetic formulas can actually affect the packaging itself. Plastics and cardboard can be degraded and effected by the chemicals used in perfumes and cosmetic products. This process can cause damage over time to the packaging and cause cracks and splits.

Some plastics can also leach chemicals into the cosmetic product. This can affect the product itself meaning that glass bottles are a more effective solution for maintaining your product in its purest form.

There are many other effective packaging solutions for cosmetic products. If you are looking for a cheaper cost-effective solution for samples to promote your products, then sachets could be a perfect solution.

Sachets are not only a cost-effective solution for storing small quantities of cosmetic products, they can also promote your brand and act as a really effective sample and marketing product.

Sachets and bottles combined can fulfil the roles of spreading the word about your product and storing the finished product itself. Many consumers of cosmetic products are very loyal to their selected brands and while you may have a very good product and nice packaging on the finished product, without getting consumers to try the product in the first place it can be difficult to get them to commit to buy.

Acrylic bottles-Golden Partner For forcosmetic

Acrylic, also known as PMMA or Acrylic, is derived from the English acrylic (acrylic plastic). The chemical name is polymethyl methacrylate. It is an important plastic polymer material that has been developed earlier. It has good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy to dye, process, and beautiful in appearance, but due to its inability, can’t directly contact with the product. Therefore, acrylic bottles usually refer to the PMMA plastic material as the base, through the injection molding process to become the bottle shell or cover shell, and combined with other PP, AS material liner accessories, The combined plastic container is called an acrylic bottle.

1. Molding processing

The shells of acrylic bottle used in the cosmetics industry are generally formed by injection molding, so they are also called injection-molded bottles. Because of their poor chemical resistance, they generally cannot be directly filled in products. They need to be equipped with an inner tank to block them in case the cracking happen if products enters between the inner liner and the acrylic bottle.

2. Surface treatment

In order to effectively display the contents, the acrylic bottle body are often injection molding solid color, transparent natural color. Acrylic bottle walls are normally sprayed color, which can refract light and have good effect. The surface of bottle caps, pump heads and other packaging materials often processed such as spraying, vacuum plating, anodized aluminum, drawing gold and silver, and secondary oxidation to reflect the product.

3. Printing

Acrylic bottles and bottle caps are commonly used in screen printing, pad printing, hot stamping, silver hot stamping, and other processes to print graphic on the surface of the bottle, cap.

WHY SHOULD YOU REFILL SHAMPOO BOTTLES?

Reusable shampoo bottles do much less harm to ourselves, other living beings, and the environment. There are many benefits of using refillable shampoo bottles and we’ll break down a few of them for you here.

We go through approximately 16 bottles of shampoo & conditioner every year. These plastic bottles are used once and then discarded, often thrown in the trash instead of the recycling can. Why? Well, many of the plastic bottles that hold shampoo and conditioner are only partially or totally unrecyclable. But when they are recyclable, we often throw them away in the most convenient place – the bathroom garbage can.

In fact, we only recycle 9% of our plastic! That’s right, nine percent. But we do put more than that in our recycling bins. What happens to those plastics? Shockingly, 70% of the plastic that’s collected for recycling is never actually recycled. So, out of the 91% of plastic that’s thrown away, about 12% is incinerated, and 79% is tossed into landfills or the natural environment.

Clearly, it’s time for a change. Instead of trying to figure out how we can make sure more plastic is recycled, we can begin to reduce or eliminate the need for it. There are easy ways to do just that, such as switching to reusable, refillable shampoo bottles.

THE PROBLEM WITH REFILLABLE SHAMPOO BOTTLES

Currently, the two major problems with refillable bottles are price and where/how to refill them. The majority of refills are available at refill stations, which aren’t always convenient for people. In fact, refill stations aren’t even available in most towns – they’re typically found in big cities. And, the brands that offer a refill station are usually selling high-end products found in luxury department stores, something that isn’t affordable to everyone.

Between the lack of convenience and a high price point, using refillable bottles is simply out of reach for many people. Instead, many choose to buy in bulk, reducing the amount of waste as best they can.

The Most Eco-Friendly Refillable Shower Gel Bottles

The cosmetics industry manufactures its products in disposable packaging and generates tonnes of garbage. There is no such alternative to reusing a shower gel bottle rather than throwing it away after only one use.

If you’re purchasing home care items like shampoo, shower gel, and lotion in large quantities, a reusable bottle could be an environmentally friendly purchase. Refillable bottles are an ecologically sustainable choice for those who prefer zero waste living.

In addition to shampoo or shower gel, refillable bottles can be used to fill personal care items such as essential oils, body lotion, makeup removers. If you’re looking for durability, excellent quality, and a uniquely designed option, we’ve brought the best refillable shower gel bottle for you.

What are the disadvantages of using disposable plastic bottles ?

From life-saving appliances to personal care products, plastic bottles show up everywhere you look. It’s not a surprise that one of the most used packaging formats in the personal care sector is plastic bottles. We can see them containing products such as shampoo, shower gels, lotions, creams.

The main drawback of plastic shampoo bottles is that so many of them end up in landfills rather than being reused—it takes centuries for plastic shower gel bottles to biodegrade. In addition, the process of degradation emits pollutants into the atmosphere.

You might be wondering why don’t we reuse these disposable plastic bottles? You may not realise that those bottles are not ideal for a refill. Some of the materials used for manufacturing those bottles are hazardous to human health.Their design is not made for easy refilling; they have a very small bottleneck, making it very difficult to pour new material inside. Many plastic shower gel bottles are not safe for hot liquids or dishwashers, or microwave ovens.

Our reusable shower gel bottles are made of non-hazardous and environmentally friendly plastic and are easily degradable, helping reduce plastic garbage. They do much less harm to ourselves, other living beings, and the environment. So when you get tired of reusing it (you can dispose of it in your household recycling bin). This will ensure the material will be recovered and reused to make new products. The recycling process of plastics has much lesser energy requirements as compared to glass recycling.

Rethinking plastic packaging

We’re completely rethinking our approach to packaging to use less, better or no plastic.Plastic is a very useful material for getting our products to consumers safely and efficiently. It’s often the lowest carbon footprint option compared to other materials. However, plastic is ending up in our environment. This has to stop.

Global research has shown that without action, twice as much virgin plastic will be created and four times more plastic could flow into our oceans by 2040. The plastic we produce is our responsibility. It’s clear we must reduce the amount of virgin plastic we use and completely rethink our approach to packaging. We must also keep plastic in use for as long as possible in a circular loop system. That means we need much better systems to collect, process and repeatedly reuse it.

Sometimes a complete rethink of how we design and package products is the best way to reduce plastic. Reducing the amount of material in a product by just a few grams can make a huge difference across an entire product range. As a result, we’re encouraging consumers to reuse their Hand Wash Bottles.
